About our team
We are a diverse team of free thinkers, athletes, inventors, artists and more. We love what we do and want to inspire and be inspired. We don't believe in outdated principles and one-size-fits-all solutions, but in creative methods and flexibility. Our diversity of perspectives helps us to maintain a broad, fresh view. Our team consists of qualified people with many years of experience in textile engineering, project management, strategy, IT and production management. Both teamwork and independence are very important to us and motivate us to always work together in an agile and interdisciplinary way within our projects.
Markus Beckmann
Managing Director
Markus founded the ITA Academy in 2016 and, in addition to his many leadership roles, he also acts as a mentor and co-thinker. He is also the link between the university, the ITA Group and McKinsey & Company.
Gesine Köppe
Member of Managment Board
Gesine successfully runs the ITA Academy together with Markus. She is responsible for training courses in the field of textiles and digitalisation. Gesine is also project manager for digitalisation projects.
Ricardo Vega
Digital Solution Specialist
Ricardo, has already accompanied the founding of the ILC. Today, he is Head of Development at the ILC and project manager for digitalisation projects. His tasks include cloud applications, AI, sensor integration and image processing.
Carolin Schwager
Projekt Manager -Textile/Digitalisation
Carolin has been part of the ITA Academy since 2022. Her tasks include organising workshops and training courses, acquisition & customer acquisition and providing support with questions about textile production
Andrés Rueda
Projekt Manager-Digitalisation/ Trainings
Andrés works as operations manager and has been training the team in new digital solutions since 2017. He also organises various workshops and training courses and manages the ILC memberships.
El Mehdi Lahjouji
Data Scientist
Mehdi has also been a member of the team since 2022. He works as a data scientist in a large publicly funded project on artificial intelligence in production. Mehdi also supports the development of customer projects.
Sven Gores
Projekt Manager-Digitalisation
Sven first joined the ITA Academy in 2018 as a Hiwi. He now supports our team as a project manager in the area of digitalisation. His expertise and experience come into play both in workshops and in various R&D projects.
Massoud Sattari
Innovation Strategist- IOT
Massoud has been supporting the ITA Academy team since 2023, taking care of R&D and digitalisation projects as well as strategic topics such as the (further) development of services and products.
Nadine Medimegh
Office Managment
Nadine is our office manager at the ILC. She provides administrative support in the planning and realisation of workshops and customer appointments. You will meet Nadine when you come to the ILC as she also works at reception.
Bharath Kumar
Digitalization Engineer
Bharath has successfully completed his work as a Hiwi in the ITA Academy team. In his role as the new digitalisation engineer, he is now supporting us not only with future training courses, but also with the technical development and optimisation of the shop floor.
Jana Bendels
Studentische Hilfskraft- Mediendesign
Jana has been a member of the ITA team since October 2022. She specialises in visual communication and design. Part of her work is the development of our website, the creation of posts on social media and the development of various print media.
